It rained on Minneapolis last night, turning everything into one gigantic puddle of rainwater and melted snow. I headed out this morning for my 6-mile recovery run (which, as usual, I did too fast) as the sun tried to poke its way back out.
The Lake Calhoun/Lake of the Isles canal almost looks like a canal again...

Definitely wouldn't want to be this poor headless guy right now.

The coming of spring is refreshing. It's been far too long since I've smelled that post-rain wet pavement.
